I have been running Mo/A with either ZB or with the recent buff WoH as elite and [skill]smoke powder defense[/skill] and [skill]return[/skill] as self-defense

It works well, that's not the problem. But I'm thinking off other builds:
ZB
RoF
Guardian
Dismiss Condition
Spirit Bond
Freezing Gust
GoLE
Veil

Freezing Gust is such a great skill on a monk, it allows you to kite from the monk stompers. GoLE helps with ZB obviously

another build what I now run, although it doesn't work that well, is:

ZB build, but instead of the shadow arts (dark escape, return or spd), I use deadly arts:
If sins can snare me with [skill]siphon speed[/skill], why can't I snare the melee and run around like an idiot. Altough the fact that this would be the only good deadly arts skill on a monk and the fact that it needs a bit of speccing into DA seems it doesn't work out that well

Third one I was thinking off: good old divine renewal spammer. Why don't I see anyone running it? With Renewal on 10 secs recharge it certainly is quite good:

don't use freezing gust. smoke powder defense is bugged and not so good still.

you won't get far with using siphon vs good teams, although it's so good. fits on offensive and midline but certainly not a monk but anything for fun.

renewal build is dumb, dies to smart players, lots of useless overprot(heal) you don't need if you're good.

I like [wiki]return[/wiki] and [wiki]dark escape[/wiki] on one bar, it's a cool combo. Some run tactics because they get full armor from their shield and because of [wiki]shield bash[/wiki] or [wiki]balanced stance[/wiki]. An occasional oddball would run [wiki]natural stride[/wiki], it's got speed buff and block chance in 1 skill so it's good bar compression.

If you are worried about that, stick a good snare on another teammember, other professions are better at it. Cripshot rangers come in mind.

lolsauce, I ran that on a monk too for a while. It drains a lot of energy though. It's funny as hell, agreed, but half range makes it easily interruptable too. I stopped using it at a certain point.
